Photosynth is a Microsoft Live Labs project. They’re working to enhance our picture-viewing experience. You can re-live your vacations in a 3D enviornment by walking or flying through scenes. The more pictures taken of a place, the more in-depth it will be. For example, a tourist attraction, where many people take photos of the same area, will be a richer experience, because there’s more information to pull from. You could create a 3-D experience of your house just by taking pictures.
